Balfour Beatty plc Announces Board and Committee Changes, Effective July 13, 2026 Balfour Beatty PLC announced the appointment of Melody Meyer and Sandra (Sandy) Stash as Non-Executive Directors of the Company and members of the Remuneration Committee, with effect from July 13, 2026. Melody Meyer brings extensive international board and executive experience across complex, capital intensive and safety critical industries. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director, Chair of the Public Policy & Sustainability Committee and member of the Audit Committee of AbbVie Inc. and as a Non-Executive Director of Airswift Parent LLC. She previously served as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of NOV Inc. and of BP plc, where she chaired the Safety and Sustainability Committee and was a member of the Remuneration Committee. Prior to her non-executive positions, Melody had a 37-year executive career with Chevron, culminating in her role as President of Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration & Production, where she was responsible for large-scale international operations, major capital projects and a workforce of over 11,000 employees across multiple jurisdictions. Sandy Stash is a highly experienced international Non-Executive Director with a strong track record across infrastructure, energy and capital-intensive industries. She currently serves on the boards of ACWA Power and Trans Mountain Company, where she chairs the Operations and HSE Committee, and has previously held Non-Executive Director roles at Diversified Energy Company plc, where she was Senior Independent Director, EVRAZ plc, Medallion Midstream, Lucid Energy, and Chaarat Gold. Sandy's executive career spans over four decades in the global energy sector, including senior leadership roles at Tullow Oil including Executive Vice President, Safety, Operations and Engineering, Talisman Energy and BP America. Balfour Beatty plc Announces Appointment of Angus Murray as Managing Director of Uk Major Projects Business, Effective September 1, 2026 Balfour Beatty PLC announced the appointment of Angus Murray as Managing Director of its UK Major Projects business, effective from September 1, 2026. Angus Murray oversaw a portfolio of projects supporting the delivery of some of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes, including Hinkley Point C and Net Zero Teesside. He also led Balfour Beatty's engagement in emerging complex infrastructure markets, including Small Modular Reactors and the UK reservoir programme. Angus Murray brought over 30 years' experience to the role, with a strong track record in leading complex, large-scale infrastructure programmes. He most recently served as Chief Executive of Connect Plus, the 30-year consortium that includes Balfour Beatty, which is responsible for managing and operating the M25 network on behalf of National Highways. Prior to Connect Plus, Angus held a number of senior leadership roles including nearly two decades at Fluor Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Operations for its Advanced Technologies and Life Sciences business across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Balfour Beatty plc Announces Chief Financial Officer Changes Balfour Beatty PLC announces that Phil Harrison will step down from the Board later this year following more than 10 years as Chief Financial Officer. Following an extensive search process and as part of the Board's long-term succession planning, Myles Westcott, currently Group Financial Controller at BAE Systems plc, has been appointed to succeed him. Subject to finalising his departure date from BAE Systems plc, Myles will join the Group later this year as Chief Financial Officer. Myles, a chartered accountant, brings more than 30 years of finance leadership experience, including almost 25 years at BAE Systems plc, a c.£30 billion multinational defence and security corporation. As Group Financial Controller, Myles leads the Group's financial reporting, planning, governance, and risk functions. Prior to that, he held a number of Finance Director roles across major business units, overseeing large scale operations, major international programmes and complex long-term contracts. Throughout his career, Myles has built a strong record in financial stewardship, operational performance, and value creation. Since Phil Harrison joined the Company in 2015, Balfour Beatty has strengthened its balance sheet from average net debt of £371 million in 2014 to £1,102 million average net cash in 2025. Reflecting this strong cash performance, between 2021 and 2025, £944 million of capital has been returned to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks. Phil will remain a Director of the Company and will continue to fulfil his current role until Myles joins, supporting the business through its 2025 full year results in March 2026. Balfour Beatty Announces Management Changes Balfour Beatty announced that it has appointed Nick Rowan as Managing Director of its UK Construction Services Regional Scotland business, effective from 4 August 2025. Nick's appointment is testament to the company's commitment to attracting, training and retaining its employees, having joined the company 30 years ago as a Graduate Surveyor. He spent the first two decades of his career in operational commercial roles, and the last 10 years as Director for New Business for the Regional Scotland business. A Chartered Surveyor, Nick has been instrumental in broadening Balfour Beatty's Regional Scotland portfolio. Most notably, he was involved in securing the A9 Dualling Scheme on behalf of Transport Scotland, and the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment offshore programme of works for SSEN Transmission. Nick replaces Hector MacAulay who has worked at Balfour Beatty for four decades, most recently as Managing Director of Balfour Beatty's UK Construction Services Regional Scotland business; a role he has held since 2015. Balfour Beatty plc Announces Resignation of Michael Lucki as Non-Executive Director Balfour Beatty plc announced that Michael Lucki has notified the Company that he will not be standing for re-election at the 2025 AGM and, as a result, he will step down as a Non-executive Director of the Company at the conclusion of the Company's AGM on 8 May 2025.
