Exchange Bank Announces Promotion of Mindy Smith to Community Relations Officer Exchange Bank announced the promotion of Mindy Smith to Community Relations Officer, recognizing her longstanding commitment to community engagement, customer connection, and purposeful leadership. Mindy joined Exchange Bank in 2015 as a Retail Service Manager, where she quickly realized her passion for driving impact, connection, and growth. In 2021, she transitioned into the Bank’s Marketing Department as a Social Media & Marketing Specialist. In that role, she played a pivotal part in connecting employees with community involvement opportunities, strengthening internal engagement, and elevating the Bank’s presence supporting local initiatives. Her promotion to Community Relations Officer reflects both her professional growth and her deep-rooted passion for community service. In her new role, Mindy will lead community engagement initiatives, expand partnerships with local nonprofits and schools, and spearhead the development of a comprehensive financial literacy program. Mindy is a graduate of Chico State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in marketing. She is also a Certified Financial Marketing Professional from the American Bankers Association. Exchange Bank Promotes Jamie Hidalgo to Senior Vice President, Risk Management Exchange Bank announced the promotion of Jamie Hidalgo to Senior Vice President, Risk Management. Since joining the Bank in March 2021 as Vice President, Risk Management Officer, Jamie has played a pivotal role in transforming the Bank’s compliance infrastructure and enhancing its overall risk management framework. With over 22 years of community banking experience, Jamie has consistently demonstrated deep expertise across key areas including regulatory compliance, internal audit, fraud prevention, and third-party risk management. Her previous roles as Head of Compliance, and Compliance and BSA Officer at local institutions have positioned her as a respected leader in the industry. In her new role, Jamie will continue to lead efforts to strengthen Exchange Bank’s enterprise risk strategy, ensuring a forward-looking approach to risk governance and resilience. Jamie holds certifications as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and is actively pursuing her Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) designation from the American Bankers Association. A hands-on and communicative leader, Jamie is known for her strong coaching skills, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability. She fosters alignment and support within her teams, ensuring the Bank is well-positioned to navigate the evolving risk landscape. Beyond her professional contributions, Jamie remains deeply involved in the community. Exchange Bank Promotes Lisa Ganame to the Role of Treasurer Exchange Bank announced the promotion of Lisa Ganame to the role of Treasurer. In this expanded role, Ganame will focus on liquidity management, capital planning, and the Bank’s investing and financing activities. She will also continue to lead the Bank’s finance-related data analytics and budgeting functions. Lisa Ganame, VP/Treasurer, Exchange Bank: Ganame joined Exchange Bank in September 2023 as Financial Planning and Analysis Officer, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in treasury and finance roles within the banking industry. Prior to joining Exchange Bank, she served as Executive Director in the Finance Transformation division at JPMorgan Chase, where she played a key role in leading strategic financial initiatives. Ganame holds a Bachelor of Science in both Systems Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia and earned her MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. Exchange Bank Appoints Barry Friedman as Board Member Exchange Bank (Santa Rosa, CA) announced that Friedman’s Home Improvement (Friedman’s) President and CEO Barry Friedman has joined its Board of Directors. Since its founding in 1946, Friedman’s has operated as a locally owned home improvement, lumber and building materials retailer serving the North Bay and North Coast. Friedman is the third generation of the family to lead the company. Since being named CEO in 2013, Friedman has led the company with a focus on fostering growth while embracing the importance of service and community. He is an Executive Committee Board Member of the North Bay Leadership Council (NBLC), a Community Board Member of Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital (PSRMH), and the Chairperson of PSRMH’s Community Benefit Committee. Friedman is also a former Board Member of Rebuilding Together Santa Rosa and actively serves on the Leadership Team for the Schools Plus Golf Tournament. Exchange Bank Appoints Holly Hawkins as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Exchange Bank announced the appointment of Holly Hawkins as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, will be responsible for developing and executing human capital strategy in support of the Bank’s overall business plan, the strategic direction of the Bank and the ongoing trends in the industry. Holly comes to Exchange Bank with extensive experience in human resources leadership, having held various HR positions in the wine industry, not-for-profits and financial services. Most recently, Holly was the SVP, Human Resources at Vintage Wine Estates Inc. Holly brings a breadth of experience developing strategy that translates to hands-on leadership, planning and execution. Hawkins, a lifelong Sonoma County and Windsor resident, has recently adopted an adorable rescue puppy into her family while continuing her dedicated community service.
