Thai Rayon Public Co.,Ltd. Announces Production Cut from One More Production Line Thai Rayon Public Co.,Ltd. announced that due to continuing poor market conditions, the Company has decided to temporarily stop production from one more production line and total production cut now stands at approx. 55% from 35%. Production cut is mainly of modal and textile/nonwoven about 14% and 41% of total production respectively. The Company will continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust the production based on market conditions. The Company has 5 production lines, production from 3 Lines are stopped now (1-line modal and 2 lines textile/nonwoven). The Company's production volume is expected to be affected by approx. 55% as mentioned above. The balance 2 lines are capable of producing textile/nonwoven. The Company is producing and distributing from these 2 lines as per customers' orders. In the past, sales revenue from textile/nonwoven and modal accounted for approx. 85% and 15% respectively. Textile can be processed into products such as clothing and apparel whereas nonwoven is mainly used in cleaning, medical surgical grown, baby or adult diapers, sanitary, face mask as well as use in automotive industry such as filters, insulation, battery separators, floor mats etc. The Company considers this as a temporary market phenomenon and hopeful of returning back to normal production level shortly.
