This newest landmark in Metro Manila's growing roster of world-class gaming, hotel and retail destinations will be located at Entertainment City, a specially zoned, master-planned district rising along Manila Bay. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from start date. The initial Letters of Award from Suntrust totaling PHP 6.3 billion included initial works such as pile cap, excavation, and lateral support direct contract, worth PHP 2.3 billion, and Site B Main Contract (including basement substructure, superstructure, and architectural builders works and finishes, amounting to PHP 4.0 billion. Then, on 18 December 2020, Megawide was awarded a Supplemental Agreement amounting to PHP 20 billion, for Management of Nominated Subcontractors for MEPF, interior design, allied services and the like of the Main Hotel Casino, including additional architectural, structural and civil works. (‘HTLI’) in connection with the All-Inclusive Construction Works Agreement dated 03 June 2019 for the construction of the project known as ‘Mandani Bay Quay - Phase 2 Block 1’ at Mandani Bay Avenue cor. F. E. Zuellig Avenue, Mandaue City, Cebu. In the Request for Arbitration, the total sum in dispute claimed by HTLI against MCC is PHP 1,295,393,641.05, excluding interest on all claims apart from the amount reconciled by MCC and HTLI. MCC will file its answer and counterclaims in due course. The Company received a Request for Arbitration with attached Complaint against it filed with the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (‘CIAC’) on 13 November 2024 (the ‘Complaint’). The Complaint was docked as CIAC Case No. 89-2024. The Complaint involved the All-Inclusive Construction Works Agreement dated 03 June 2019 entered into between HTLI and the Company for the construction of the project known as ‘Mandani Bay Quay - Phase 2 Block 1’ at Mandani Bay Avenue cor. Announces it Has Been Awarded Multiple Contracts by Suntrust Home Developers, Inc for its Westside City Resorts World ProjectMegawide Construction Corp. announced it has been awarded multiple contracts by Suntrust Home Developers, Inc. for its Westside City Resorts World project. This newest landmark in Metro Manila's growing roster of world-class gaming, hotel and retail destinations will be located at Entertainment City, a specially zoned, master-planned district rising along Manila Bay. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from start date. The initial Letters of Award from Suntrust totaling PHP 6.3 billion included initial works such as pile cap, excavation, and lateral support direct contract, worth PHP 2.3 billion, and Site B Main Contract (including basement substructure, superstructure, and architectural builders works and finishes, amounting to PHP 4.0 billion. Then, on 18 December 2020, Megawide was awarded a Supplemental Agreement amounting to PHP 20 billion, for Management of Nominated Subcontractors for MEPF, interior design, allied services and the like of the Main Hotel Casino, including additional architectural, structural and civil works. Megawide continues to build a robust order book of construction projects, revenues from which remain the main contributor to the company's financial performance. In the third quarter of 2020, the Company also secured the Aglipay Sewage Treatment Plant industrial contract with Manila Water amid the weakness of private residential developments.

The term of the JVA is fifty (50) years, extendible for another twenty five (25) years upon mutual agreement of the parties. The total investment of the Company in the Project throughout its term is estimated at PHP 5,500,000,000.00. At a time of deep economic crisis, the Filipino people received a devastating blow against progress. A critical step towards the Philippines' national economic recovery was delayed further by vested and corrupt interests who have spent millions in trying to bring down a capable and qualified player. Megawide-GMR will immediately file a motion for reconsideration for its proposal. At all stages, Megawide has complied with all requirements and interpretations of the government for its unsolicited proposal.
