Bittium Corporation Launches Bittium MissionNet Bittium Corporation announced the launch of Bittium MissionNet™, a next generation solution that replaces isolated vehicle intercom systems with a fully networked approach integrating military vehicle crew communications directly into the tactical battlefield IP network. Alongside the platform, Bittium is introducing the Bittium Tough PTT™, a rugged push-to-talk device that serves as a networked endpoint delivering both voice and data connectivity. Traditional vehicle intercom systems operate as closed analog audio loops, cut off from the wider tactical picture. Bittium MissionNet changes this fundamentally: voice and data share the same IP infrastructure, connecting vehicle crews with dismounted troops and broader force elements in real time. Vehicles, soldiers, sensors and unmanned systems can all operate as part of the same coherent network, the connectivity model that modern combined arms operations demand. Crew communications can be managed, extended and upgraded using the same principles as wider tactical networks, reducing system complexity and integration costs within the vehicle. The solution integrates natively with Bittium's tactical radios, routers and voice services, while also supporting interoperability to third-party radios and vehicle systems. The Bittium Tough PTT supports preset user profiles and flexible connectivity for headsets, Heads-Up Displays (HUDs), vehicle systems and network interfaces. It delivers high audio quality and straightforward configuration, designed for easy integration with current and future IP-based services. With the Bittium Tough VoIP service, even two Tough PTT devices can independently form a distributed voice communication network without external infrastructure. The distributed architecture increases system resilience by eliminating single points of failure and ensuring continued operation even in the event of individual device failure. As IP-based services continue to evolve, the system grows with them, protecting the investment for years to come. Bittium MissionNet and Bittium Tough PTT will have their world premiere at Eurosatory 2026, at Bittium's stand G146, Hall 6. お知らせ • Jun 12
Bittium Enables Hybrid Networking Connecting The Tactical Edge To Strategic Command Bittium's approach to hybrid networking bridges military tactical communications with secure connectivity across all network domains, giving defence forces a continuous and unbroken communications chain at every level of operation. Bittium presents its vision for hybrid networking, an approach that unites its tactical communications systems with secure, software defined wide-area networking connectivity to give defence forces, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators a complete and unbroken communications chain, from the front line to the command centre. Bittium's hybrid networking approach closes those gaps. At the tactical edge, where conditions are demanding and interference is common, Bittium's MANET-based radio networks provide resilient, self-organising connectivity that keeps units communicating even when infrastructure is damaged or unavailable. As information moves up the chain, the same network integrates seamlessly with 4G and 5G broadband, SATCOM, and other communications technologies. The result is a single, coherent system that carries voice and data reliably from the most remote unit to the most senior decision-maker. Central to this capability is the Bittium FUSOR™ software router, which acts as the bridge between tactical and commercial network domains. Using the same routing logic as Bittium's tactical radios, it automatically selects the best available data path as conditions change, ensuring communications remain uninterrupted whether a unit is operating in a degraded environment or moving between network coverage areas. In addition to routing capabilities FUSOR brings quantum safe encryption-layers for untrusted networks and centralized end-user device management. This brings iron clad security for communication. When software security is not enough, security can be extended to hardware level with Bittium Tough Mobile™ product family which is certified up to NATO Restricted level. Software defined hybrid networking also supports interoperability, an increasingly important requirement as defence forces operate alongside allied units and civilian authorities. Bittium's approach allows secure data exchange across previously separate systems, making joint operations simpler to coordinate without exposing sensitive communications. お知らせ • May 01
