Odfjell SE Announces Promotion of Harald Fotland as CEO, Effective May 6, 2022 Odfjell SE's Board of Directors announced that Harald Fotland has been appointed as the Company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Fotland comes from the position as Odfjell's Chief Operating Officer, and will assume the CEO position on May 6, 2022. Harald Fotland succeeds Kristian Mørch, who announced in March that he wished to step down once a suitable successor had been identified. Mørch will remain available for six months to support a seamless transition. Fotland joined Odfjell in 2010 as Chief of Staff. Odfjell SE (OB:ODF) reached an agreement to acquire an additional 24.5% minority stake in Odfjell Terminal Korea Co.,Ltd. from Lindsay Goldberg LLC for $19 million on December 3, 2020. Post transaction, Odfjell SE will hold 50% stake in Odfjell Terminal Korea Co.,Ltd., alongside KPIC. The acquisition will be funded through available proceeds within the Odfjell Terminals structure. Odfjell Terminal Korea Co.,Ltd. generated an annual EBITDA of $8.63 million and net profit of $2.75 million for the year ended December 31, 2019.
