After a brief transition period, Alex would be taking over from Graham Boyd, who decided to leave the Company to pursue the next chapter in his career. Alex joined Ivanhoe Electric in 2023, after a distinguished career at Anglo American. He led projects in the United States and expanded domestic exploration activities. Alex and Graham worked closely together since Alex joined Ivanhoe Electric in 2023. Alex developed deep relationships throughout the organization and demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities across U.S. projects. Graham was one of the first employees at Ivanhoe Electric and worked closely in assembling the Santa Cruz, Tintic, and Hog Heaven assets. Graham worked closely with Robert Friedland in launching Typhoon™-driven, high-technology exploration in the United States.
