Angkor Resources Corp. Advances Oil and Gas Exploration Drilling Program in Block Viii Cambodia to Inter-Ministerial Review Angkor Resources Corp. advanced its planned oil and gas exploration drilling program on Block VIII in Cambodia to an inter-ministerial review, with a meeting held July 14, 2026 in Phnom Penh. The meeting is a key step in the review of the Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") for the program. Management of EnerCam met with representatives of five government Ministries and three provinces to review the drilling program in detail. At the meeting, the planned drilling activities were explained with the specific preventative and proactive measures the Company will take to protect the environment and local communities during the exploratory drilling phase of the project. An inter-ministerial meeting was held July 14, 2026 at the Ministry of Environment in Phnom Penh as part of the review of EnerCam’s Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") for its planned drilling program on Block VIII. More than 26 representatives from five government Ministries — including Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Rural Development attended. Green Assessment Co. Ltd., the Cambodian independent EIA consultant, presented its findings alongside EnerCam. The EIA covers the four sub-basins that host the drill targets for EnerCam’s planned four-well exploration program, which would be Cambodia’s first privately financed onshore oil and gas wells. Ahead of the meeting, officials from the General Department of Petroleum and the Ministry of Environment visited each planned drill site with local landowners and authorities. The discussion drew on Green Assessment’s 398-page EIA report. Topics addressed included: How and where drilling fluid and water are sourced, used, stored, and cleaned throughout the process, using steel tanks and pits with impermeable liners to protect soil and groundwater; How safety is ensured before, during, and after drilling at each site, drawing on the Company’s experienced personnel and internationally recognized well-control standards (IWCF and API); What happens after a well is drilled: involving local communities at each stage, if it is a producing well, the small well site is connected by buried pipeline to a central facility; if it is not productive, the land is fully restored to its original or similar condition; What initiatives can be taken to expand ESG (environmental, social, governance) practices to ensure the communities and local residents benefit from each activity to protect the land, water, and air quality. Angkor Resources Corp Reports Copper Mineralization At Thmei North Prospect Angkor Resources Corp. reported results from diamond drill hole AB25-009 completed at the Thmei North copper target on the Andong Bor mineral exploration license in Cambodia. The drill hole returned copper mineralization over the entire 286.2 metres sampled, with grades increasing significantly at depth. Diamond drill hole AB25-009 was completed on July 18, 2025, to a depth of 312.2 metres. The hole was drilled near vertical and sampled continuously over 286.2 metres, returning an overall average of 1,309 parts per million (ppm) copper (0.13% Cu). Notably, copper grades increased with depth. The bottom 67.3 metres of the hole averaged 2,181 ppm copper (0.22% Cu), including a 52.6-metre interval grading 2,493 ppm copper (0.25% Cu). The hole ended in mineralization, suggesting the copper-bearing system continues at depth. The upper portion of the hole cored a medium-grained diorite — a dense, granite-like rock — to a depth of 244.9 metres. Throughout this section, the drill core contained small quartz veins carrying iron and copper minerals. At 244.9 metres, the hole crossed into hornfels, which are older sedimentary rocks that have been hardened by heat from the nearby diorite intrusion. Within the hornfels, the number of mineral-bearing veins increased significantly, and copper content rose accordingly. A second drill hole, AB25-010, was started on July 20, 2025, but was halted due to the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict in the northwest region. Safety of staff and personnel remains the Company’s top priority, and activities on the Andong Bor license are on hold until conditions allow safe resumption. Thmei North is located on relatively flat farmland and is defined by an approximately one-square-kilometre copper soil anomaly. An earlier target, Thmei South, is located roughly three kilometres to the south and was the site of a historical diamond drill hole (ABDDH16-006) completed in 2016. That hole cored diorite for the upper 135 metres, with the remaining 127 metres described as hornfels containing a stockwork of veins with copper and other sulphide minerals. The lower portion of this historical hole was never sampled. The Company will assist year-five students at the Cambodian Institute of Technology in a study of ABDDH16-006, providing additional data on the copper potential of the Thmei area and advancing the degrees of Cambodia’s future geologists.
