Copper Intelligence Reports Encouraging Drill Results from Butembo Copper Project Copper Intelligence announced encouraging drill results from its Butembo Copper Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), with a second borehole successfully confirming continuation of the copper mineralization 100 meters along strike from the initial high-grade discovery borehole. Discovery hole (Borehole BCDD001): 7.55m thickness from surface at approximately 5.96% Cu. Step-out hole (Borehole BCDD002 – 100m along strike): 3m at approximately 0.24% Cu (8m–11m depth) plus 3m at approximately 1.89% Cu (19.7m–22.7m depth). A second cored borehole drilled approximately 100 meters along strike from the initial discovery hole has intersected copper mineralization in two zones, marking an important step-out success for the project. A more substantially mineralized zone was intersected at depth, returning 3 meters grading approximately 1.89% copper from 19.7m to 22.7m. This higher-grade interval is considered highly encouraging and, together with the shallower intersection in this hole, plus the 7.55m high-grade intersection in the first hole, points to the development of a potentially significant mineralized system. A shallow interval from 8m to 11m returned moderate grades of approximately 0.24% copper. The successful intersection of mineralization in this step-out hole confirms continuity along strike and materially strengthens confidence in the Butembo project's scale potential. It demonstrates that mineralization is not isolated to the discovery hole and is developing both laterally and at depth. The initial borehole intersected strong copper mineralization from surface to 7.55 meters, returning an average grade of approximately 5.96% Cu based on combined channel and core sampling. This high-grade near-surface result, together with the emerging deeper mineralized zones now identified in the second borehole, highlights the system's robustness. All reported results are preliminary and based on on-site handheld XRF analyses of pulverized half-cores. Samples will be submitted to accredited laboratories for confirmatory assay. Drilling in a second borehole is ongoing and is targeting depths of at least 100 meters. In parallel, the Company is evaluating further step-out drilling to continue testing strike and down-dip extensions and defining the scale of the mineralised footprint. Copper Intelligence believes these early drilling results represent a strong start to the program and provide increasing evidence of a growing copper discovery at Butembo. Further updates will be provided as drilling progresses and assay results are received. Notizie in diretta • 3h
Copper Intelligence Drills High-Grade Copper at Butembo Project in DRC Copper Intelligence reported fresh drill results from its Butembo Copper Project in the DRC, with a second borehole intersecting two mineralized zones and a higher-grade interval of about 1.89% copper, 100 meters along strike from the initial discovery hole.
The confirmation of copper mineralization along strike and the presence of a defined high-grade interval expand the perceived scale of the Butembo system, which can influence future resource estimates and how investors view the project’s potential importance within the company’s portfolio.
Copper Intelligence shares trade at $5.75, with the stock up 36.9% year to date, while the latest results add another data point for investors weighing exploration progress against recent share price strength.
The key read-through is that Butembo is starting to look like a more continuous copper system, but the project is still at an early stage and remains dependent on further drilling and eventual resource definition. Annuncio • Apr 30
African Discovery Group, Inc. (OTCPK:AFDG) acquired Kitungu Exploration Licence PR-15880 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). African Discovery Group, Inc. (OTCPK:AFDG) acquired Kitungu Exploration Licence PR-15880 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on April 29, 2026. The license is located approximately 73 km (straight–line distance) from Lubumbashi and covers an area of 764.55 hectares. The Kitungu project is located within the highly prospective DRC copper belt and is surrounded by other operating mines and projects, including the Kinsvere project, which holds an estimated 30 million tonnes at 3.65% copper operated by MinMetal Resources. The project area is accessible by road, using the national road N5 from Lubumbashi towards Minga.

Copper Intelligence Announces Transportation Of Drill Rig To Butembo Copper Intelligence announced together with our drilling partner Gemdrill, that the company's XY–44 drill rig will be transported to the Butembo DRC project site. Transit time is estimated at approximately 2–3 weeks, ensuring the rig is on the ground and ready to support the company's upcoming Butembo drilling campaign. The company anticipates a travel window of approximately 2–3 weeks to get the XY–44 drill to the DRC border. From that point, unloading will occur at the yard in the town of Kasindi, enabling the triaxle long-range transport truck. A further week is estimated to mobilize all equipment to site. One additional week will be required to establish camp, stabilize the drill setup, organize equipment, and complete all necessary preparations before drilling can commence. Barring any customs or transit issues enroute, it is anticipated that the drill will be operational mid-April with initial site-based analyses of copper ore core being released at the beginning of May. The company anticipates a social media and in-person Analyst Day for the attendance of Sell-Side and Institutional Investors to be held and televised from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the mid-May timeframe. On Feb. 4, 2026, African Discovery Group (AFDG), the predecessor company to Copper Intelligence, announced the signing of Definitive Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the Butembo Copper Asset in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a Reverse Takeover Transaction (RTO), solidifying its status as the first stand-alone DRC company to be publicly traded in the United States. Butembo is a near surface, low strip, Tier one exploration opportunity, located near the Ruwenzori mountain location of Uganda's biggest copper mine (Kilembe with 4 million tons of verified reserves), located only 50km from the Ugandan border with verified access to rail. The High-grade copper samples thus far have returned 18% Copper assays, which if maintained at production would rank amongst the highest globally. The recent discovery of the Butembo copper deposit has underscored the need for further exploration work in areas peripheral to the Katanga Copper Belt. Annuncio • Sep 26
