Traction Uranium Corp Outlines 2026 Exploration Roadmap for Aurora Uranium Project Traction Uranium Corp. provided an update on its planned 2026 exploration program at the Aurora Uranium Project, located in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin region. The 2026 exploration roadmap for Aurora is expected to include two principal work streams, including an airborne radiometric survey to evaluate the Project for any potential near-surface radioactive anomalies, followed by diamond drilling and radiometric prospecting designed to test priority uranium targets and advance additional areas for future follow-up. Cosa, as operator, is currently advancing final contractor selection and logistical planning for the airborne radiometric survey. The survey is expected to provide property-scale radiometric coverage across Aurora and to support the identification of radioactive anomalies that may warrant ground follow-up. Given Aurora’s location along the southeastern margin of the Athabasca Basin, where sandstone cover is interpreted to be shallow to locally absent in portions of the Project area, the survey is expected to be an important step in evaluating the Project’s potential for near-surface uranium targets. Following completion and interpretation of the airborne survey, the results are to be integrated with existing geological, geophysical, historical exploration, and remote sensing datasets to support target prioritization. The results will help guide follow-up radiometric prospecting and assist with refinement of drill targets for the 2026 field season and future exploration programs. Diamond drilling at Aurora is expected to commence in late summer or early fall 2026, subject to contractor availability, weather, logistical conditions, and final target prioritization. The planned drill program is expected to evaluate priority targets, including VTEM conductor picks identified by Cosa in 2024. The program is currently expected to comprise of up to six diamond drilling holes, with final meterage, drill collar locations, and program scope to be determined following completion of detailed planning and interpretation of available exploration datasets and budgetary review. In conjunction with the planned drilling program, radiometric prospecting of areas of interest identified through the airborne survey are to be completed. This work is intended to support the identification and ranking of target areas for additional exploration, which may include ground geophysics, direct drill testing, or other follow-up work in 2027 and beyond. The Company expects to provide further updates as contractor selection, survey planning, and drill program preparations advance. Traction Uranium Corp Announces Spring Exploration Program At Aurora Project Traction Uranium Corp. announced its planned spring exploration program at the Aurora Project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin region, where the Company intends to complete an airborne radiometric survey across the project land package. The Company holds an option to acquire an 80% interest in Aurora from Cosa Resources Corp., the project’s underlying owner and operator, subject to the satisfaction of certain earn-in requirements. Aurora spans approximately 17 kilometres of prospective strike along the southeastern margin of the Athabasca Basin and is located about 16 kilometres east of the Key Lake uranium mill and past-producing mine, in an area where historical exploration indicates shallow to locally absent sandstone cover. The Company believes these characteristics support the potential for near-surface uranium discoveries and provide Aurora with strategic significance as an exploration project in proximity to existing regional infrastructure. The survey will be designed to evaluate the Project for radioactive anomalies at a property-wide scale and to support the prioritization of existing targets while also generating additional areas for follow-up. Results from the airborne program are expected to help refine the Company’s exploration focus for the remainder of the 2026 field season, including ground truthing and other potential follow-up work. This program builds on prior exploration completed on Aurora, including airborne Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) surveying, Falcon gravity gradiometer surveying, remote sensing, and a subsequent soil gas program. Collectively, these datasets have contributed to target development across the project area and are being used to guide the next phase of systematic exploration aimed at identifying shallow uranium targets with attributes that may be supportive of future open-pit evaluation. The Company expects the airborne radiometric survey to be completed during the spring to early summer window, subject to contractor scheduling, weather, and operating conditions. Follow-up fieldwork is anticipated to be planned once results from the survey have been received and interpreted. In parallel with exploration planning, the Company continues to advance the project through ongoing engagement and permitting processes in support of its work programs. Traction Uranium Corp. and Forum Energy Metals Corp. Commence Airborne MobileMT Survey on the Grease River Project, Athabasca Basin Traction Uranium Corp. and Forum Energy Metals Corp. announced they have commenced a helicopter-borne airborne MobileMT (Mobile MagnetoTellurics) survey on the Grease River Project, located along the north rim of the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The survey is being completed by Expert Geophysics based out of Aurora, Ontario. A total of 1,781 line-km will be surveyed at a 100 metre line spacing and will collect high resolution magnetic and VLF data. The survey will be conducted over the entire Grease River claims totaling 10,528 hectares along the Grease River Shear Zone. Data delivery is expected within eight weeks from completion of the survey from Expert Geophysics and will be interpreted for follow-up exploration. This additional airborne geophysical survey will help resolve conductors and fault zones to a greater depth for future drill targeting that were not easily imaged by the Xcite™? Time Domain Electromagnetic System flown in 2023. In particular, a shallow conductive layer in the Athabasca sandstone masked the electromagnetic signal at depth on the western block so this survey aims at penetrating it and resolving the basement structures to a greater degree. The high-resolution magnetic data is also important to highlight important fault zones or corridors that could host uranium mineralization. Mobile MagnetoTellurics (MobileMT) is the latest innovation in airborne electromagnetics and the most advanced generation of airborne AFMAG technologies. The patent pending MobileMT technology utilizes naturally occurring electromagnetic fields in the frequency range of 25 - 20,000 Hz. Thunder storms release energy, some of which is converted into electromagnetic fields that propagate through the ionosphere-Earth interspace. The EM fields and currents induced by these fields in the subsurface are used in MobileMT to identify variations in subsurface electrical resistivity. The MobileMT system records two mutually orthogonal electrical components of MT field on the stationary base station and three mutually orthogonal dB/dt components in the towed bird sensors. The MobileMT processing program merges the records into one file. The signal processing is basically the same as in the classical ground MT methods. The program applies FFT to the records and calculates the matrices of the relations between the magnetic and electrical field signals on the different time bases and in different frequency bands. The module of the determinant of each matrix is a rotation invariant parameter which is used as a geophysical parameter for the mapping. Physically it represents a relation between the field powers in the points of flight and base station. This method is free of the bird motion distortions and does not require the problematic bird attitude corrections. Each electrical component on the base station is registered independently from two grounded lines - signal and reference - which is utilized to eliminate the data bias distortions. This feature was not available in the previous generations of the AFMAG system. The final products include processed EM data for each selected frequency, a resistivity-depth inversion of the EM data, and magnetic field data and its transformations. The closest community is the hamlet of Fond-du-Lac, which is located between the two claim blocks. The southern claim block rests within the Athabasca Basin and the northern claim block is outside the Athabasca Basin. Dashed line is the Grease River Shear zone, a major shear system that extends for over 400 km. Unconformity uranium deposits are structurally controlled, fluids from under the Athabasca sandstone basin carrying uranium along the faults.um and Traction see this structure as a possible major fluid conduit that has the potential to host a significant uranium deposit. Traction Uranium Corp. Announces the Completion of Single Sonic Drill Hole At the Hearty Bay Property Traction Uranium Corp. announced the completion of a single sonic drill hole at the Hearty Bay Property ("The Property") and the early suspension of the drill program due to deteriorating ice conditions on Lake Athabasca. The use of a track mounted sonic drill has resulted in the recovery of till for the first time under the lake in the up-ice direction from the high grade boulder trains on Isle Brochet and resulted in the recovery of a complete intersect of the underlying glacial till. Initial interpretation of this unit is favorable and suggests less post depositional disturbance than assumed, supporting the theory that the glacial till in which the historic high grade boulder trains on Island Brochet occur, does extend up ice under the lake towards a source location. Importantly, this suggests that it will be possible to use the subglacial till sampling method to trace the disturbance of uraniferous till under the lake, and thus directly back to the source of the historic Isle Brochet high grade boulder trains. The two previous sub glacial till programs completed by the geomorphological experts at Palmer Environmental Consulting in 2023 demonstrated a uranium geochemistry signature in the sub glacial till, a reliable sampling medium inv vulnerable to the effects of wave action, below the historic high grade boulder trains located on surface on Isle Brochet. The discovery of this 2.3 m thick till under the lake provides strong support for additional sub glacial till sampling to ultimately lead directly to the source from which the radioactive boulder trains on Isle Brochet originate. Traction and F3 Uranium Corp. ("F3") have also engaged Convolutions Geoscience to complete a constrained addition of the ground gravity data collected in January and the ground VLF EM data collected in 2022. Anversion based structural interpretation will then be included for drill planning for the next program on the Property. Annuncio • Mar 07
Traction Uranium Corp. and F3 Mobilize Drill to Hearty Bay to Test New Targets At Head of Uranium Boulder Field Traction Uranium Corp. announced that the 2024 winter drill program at the Hearty Bay project is underway with the arrival of the Boart Longyear drill crew on site. The program is designed to find the source of glacially dispersed uraniferous boulders and anomalous till geochemistry samples on Isle Brochet. The glacially dispersed material in combination with the recently completed gravity survey provides new, reliable targets for the program that were not tested in previous and historic drill programs. A total of approximately 2,000 metres of drilling is planned using a Boart Longyear sonic rig that can recover and sample both overburden and bedrock. This is anticipated to trace anomalous overburden under the lake to the proposed source areas, which may be defined by one of the gravity low targets defined by this winter’s survey. The program should be completed by the end of March, dependant on ice conditions. Boart Longyear is the drill contractor, overburden experts are provided by Palmer Geotechnical Consultants Inc., while F3 Uranium Corp. is the program operator; technical guidance will be given by Rock U Consulting (Ken Wheatley), Technical Advisor to Traction Uranium. Traction Uranium Announces Mobilization of Gravity Crew to Hearty Bay Project Traction Uranium Corp. announced mobilization of a gravity crew to the company’s Hearty Bay Project. Traction will be conducting a gravity survey on Hearty Bay prior to diamond drilling to maximize targets for this winter’s program. The Hearty Bay Project is an ice-road program and suitable ice thickness must be achieved prior to mobilizing drilling equipment over the ice. The gravity survey crew is currently mobilizing to Fond du Lac as ice thickness is enough to allow snowmobiles to access the project. Technical Details of Program: The gravity survey will cover approximately 16 square km with stations spaced at 100m, the grid located north and east of the two boulder trains. The survey is being conducted by MWH Geo-Surveys Ltd. and should take approximately 1 month to complete. Any gravity lows defined by the survey, in conjunction with EM conductors, magnetic lows and faults /structures will be considered as targets for the follow-up drill program. Once the gravity survey has been completed and interpreted, and the ice thickness of Lake Athabasca is thick enough, a drill program will be initiated to test the targets mentioned above, and will also investigate the contact of the northern extent of the Athabasca Basin sandstone with the underlying basement rocks. The Hearty Bay Project surrounds the historic Isle Brochet radioactive boulder trains. Boulder prospecting by Fission 3.0 (“Fission”) on Isle Brochet in 2019 led to the discovery of another 45 radioactive boulders with assay values up to 8.23% U3O8 with over 24% of them returning assay values of >1% U3O8. A source has never been found for these boulders. A marine seismic survey completed in the up-ice direction to the northeast in 2019 was interpreted to indicate multiple basement structural and lithological features which have defined drill targets. Traction acquired a 50% interest in the Hearty Bay Project through (i) cash payments to Fission of C$650,000, (ii) the issuance to Fission of 6,042,952 common shares of Traction, and (iii) and a commitment to complete $3,000,000 in exploration work on the Hearty Bay Property spread out over two years. Fission retains a 2.0% NSR. Traction retains the option to increase its interest in the Hearty Bay Project to 70% by making additional cash payments totalling $350,000 and completing an additional $3,000,000 in exploration work on the Hearty Bay Property on or before the date that is three years following the date of the Hearty Bay agreement. The work program’s aim is to discover the source of high-grade uranium boulder trains on Isle Brochet. The Company also announces that it has terminated its option to earn up to a 75% interest in the ?Key Lake South Project pursuant to the terms of the option agreement (the “Option Agreement”) ?with UGreenco Energy Corp. dated August 15th 2022. Following termination of the Option ?Agreement, the Company plans to increase its focus on its other prospects, including the Hearty ?Bay Project.? New major risk - Shareholder dilution The company's shareholders have been substantially diluted in the past year. Increase in shares outstanding: 51% This is considered a major risk. Shareholder dilution occurs when there is an increase in the number of shares on issue that is not proportionally distributed between all shareholders. Often due to the company raising equity capital or some options being converted into stock. All else being equal, if there are more shares outstanding then each existing share will be entitled to a lower proportion of the company's total earnings, thus reducing earnings per share (EPS). While dilution might not always result in lower EPS (like if the company is using the capital to fund an EPS accretive acquisition) in a lot cases it does, along with lower dividends per share and less voting power at shareholder meetings. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risks No financial data reported. Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (12% average weekly change). Traction Uranium Corp. Announces Completion of Technical Report on Key Lake South Project Traction Uranium Corp. announced, further to its press release dated May 17, 2023, thaturora Geosciences Ltd. has completed a Technical Report in respect of the Key Lake South Property ("KLS Property") pursuant to National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The 2023 program was comprised solely of an 1,838 m diamond drilling program in 12 holes, covering numerous widely spaced targets in the northeastern area of the property. At each hole, a down-hole gamma ray survey was performed to test for gamma radiation, including readings through overburden, to test for glacially transported or other surficial radioactive material. Summary of the Technical Report: The majority of anomalous thorium (Th) intercepts are associated with rare earth elements (REEs), locally returning strongly anomalous values. Many of these intercepts are pegmatite-hosted, although amphibolite and structurally-hosted intercepts also occur. The northwestern property area, including hole KLS23-007, is the most favourable area for Uranium and REE mineralization. The area around KLS23-007 is along trend of the structural feature underlying the Key Lake deposits to the northeast, extending to anomalous Th-REE mineralization drilled in 2008 to the SW. Hole KLS23-008, collared southwest of KLS-007, pierced the contact of Upper Wollaston Group orthogneiss with underlying Lower Wollaston Group metapelites. A short interval of anomalous Thorium-REE values occurs directly below the contact. Anomalous Th-REE values from the 2008 drilling are hosted by pegmatites within metapelites. Uranium, Th-REE mineralization may provide an alternate exploration target at Key Lake South. Phase 1 surface soil geochemical program is recommended to test for overburden-hosted mineralization identified from down-hole gamma ray probe testing of KLS23-007. The objective will include testing its lateral surface extent up-ice from the drill collar. This program should be combined with further geological mapping in areas of bedrock or rubblecrop exposure. The KLS Property is located approximately 6 kilometers to the southwest of the Key Lake uranium mill and in close vicinity to modern uranium mining facilities and all-weather highway transportation in northern Saskatchewan. Geologically, it sits at the southeastern edge of the Proterozoic Athabasca Basin. Recent discoveries of the Triple R and Arrow deposits have demonstrated further potential for high-grade uranium prospects along the edge of the basin. The Key Lake property is located along the south-east margin of the Athabasca Basin within the Hearne province of the Canadian Shield. In the Key Lake area, Hearne province basement rocks include the Wollaston domain, comprised of the lower and upper Wollaston groups. The lower Wollaston group, which underlies the Key Lake mine, comprises mainly metasedimentary gneisses (metapelites), whereas the upper Wollaston group comprises mainly metasedimentary rocks to the southeast.
