Refined Energy Corp. Completes Maiden Drill Program at Dufferin West Refined Energy Corp. completed its maiden drill program at the Dufferin West property, located in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin uranium district. Drill hole DW26-001 intersected the targeted graphitic conductor at 381 metres with associated brecciation (unconformity depth was at 332 m). Drill hole DW26-003 reached the unconformity at 312 metres and intersected two brecciated fault zones; one in the sandstone at 104 to 120 m with associated bleaching, and one in the basement from 323.7 to 327.1 m with brecciation and clay gouges. DW26-003 tested a significant ground gravity low complemented by a partially overlapping magnetic low and bounded to the east by a magnetic high. Initial drill program totaled 975 metres. Detailed sampling for geochemical analysis was completed over the fault /breccia zones to aid in determining their potential for mineralization. The program was completed on budget for approximately $1.7 million. Both drill hole DW26-003 and DW26-001 successfully intersected the unconformity. The Company elected to advance drill hole DW26-003 in place of the originally planned DW26-002 following observations from DW26-001, which indicated similar structural characteristics. This adjustment was made to maximize coverage of priority gravity geophysical targets within the program. Core logging and sampling are complete, with samples submitted to an accredited laboratory for detailed geochemical analysis and assay results. The Company has commissioned rush analysis on select samples from key intervals to expedite evaluation of alteration and potential mineralization vectors. The maiden drill program was designed to test multiple high-priority geophysical and structural targets across the Dufferin West property, integrating EM conductors, gravity lows, and magnetic features. Refined holds the exclusive option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the 10,140-hectare Dufferin Project from Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. through a combination of cash payments, share issuances and exploration expenditures. Drill hole DW26-001 targeted an electromagnetic (EM) conductor defined by a moving loop EM survey. Drill hole DW26-002 was designed to test the conductor along strike in conjunction with a coincident weak gravity low anomaly; however, the hole was terminated early based on geological observations from DW26-001 and to allow completion of drill hole DW26-003 within the planned program budget. Refined Energy Corp. Provides Details of Proposed Summer Program for Basin and Milner Projects Refined Energy Corp. provided details of a proposed summer program for the Basin and Milner Properties under option from Searchlight Resources Inc. (“Searchlight”). The Basin and Milner Properties: The Basin Property is prospective for unconformity- and basement-hosted uranium mineralization and are underexplored, while at the Milner Property the focus will be on the outcropping pegmatite and structurally related mineralization. The Company is considering the most effective geophysical exploration methods from a variety that have proven effective in the Athabasca Basin. These include electromagnetic, magnetic, resistivity, radiometric and gravity surveys to delineate prospective conductors and alteration signatures. Geochemical sampling will also be considered over specific structures and conductors. The aim of this exploration work will be to identify anomalies for drill targeting. The Basin Property is in close proximity to Highway 905 and lies in the northeastern part of the Athabasca Basin. Historical exploration has identified radioactive anomalies associated with linear and conductive features. Structural features which have been identified include faults, dykes, sills and lithological contacts. The Milner Property is located approximately 5 kilometres west of Missinipe and Highway 102, and 60 kilometres north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Uranium staining was noted by a prior operator of the Milner Property 1.4 km northeast of the north end of Milner Lake on the Milner Property. Channel sampling of this area revealed uranium mineralization, mainly uranophane and autunite, which occurs at the contact of granitic gneiss and pegmatite. The seventeen channel samples taken from a 15.2 m trench yielded assays ranging from 0.003% to 0.500% U3O8, averaging 0.072% U3O8. A secondary side pit in the area exposed a heavy concentration of uranium minerals associated with veinlets of fluorite. Five samples from this pit included assays of 0.60%, 1.17% and 1.39% U3O8. One sample submitted for spectrochemical analysis yielded 1.38% U3O8. A second showing at the Milner Property has been observed in a pegmatite outcrop. Uranium mineralization, primarily uranophane and autunite, at this outcrop occurs on the east side of a shear. Grab samples taken by a prior operator of the Milner Property from the biotitic and feldspathic phases returned 0.70% and 0.127% U3O8, respectively. In addition, twenty-six channel samples taken at 1.5 m intervals along an 24.4m trench yielded assays ranging from 0.003% to 0.126% U3O8, averaging 0.022% U3O8. Bekanntmachung • Jan 21
Refined Energy Corp. Identifies Uranium Targets At Dufferin North in the Athabasca Basin Refined Energy Corp. announced that it has completed the review and interpretation of historical geophysical survey data at the Dufferin North property in the Athabasca Basin. Four priority target areas were identified by Condor Consulting Inc. using archived electromagnetic (MEGATEM), magnetic and gravity data. The data interpretation is part of the 2024 work program on the Dufferin Project. The property lies adjacent to and within the Virgin River Shear Zone, approximately 18km along strike to the south-southwest from the Centennial uranium deposit of Cameco Corporation. Four target zones were identified by Condor using an airborne gravity survey as the primary data source, complemented by regional magnetic data. A series of gravity lows, potentially indicative of alteration, coincide with a north-northeast trending magnetic low and are overlain by several conductor traces from historical EM surveys. Interpretation of the recent survey results in conjunction with the historical data is underway. The Dufferin Project is located on or in close proximity to the known trace of the Virgin River Shear Zone and related splays. These are key structures for potential uranium mineralization and are prospective for unconformity- and basement-hosted uranium mineralization. Bekanntmachung • Jan 08
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. Partner Refined Energy Corp. Identifies Uranium Targets at Dufferin West Uranium Property, Saskatchewan Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. announced that partner Refined Energy Corp. has completed the review and interpretation of historical geophysical survey data at Eagle Plains' 100% owned Dufferin West Property. Three priority target areas with signatures consistent with potential uranium deposits were identified by Condor Consulting Inc. using archived versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) and magnetic data. Refined holds the exclusive option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the 10,140ha Dufferin Project, which is made up of the North and West Dufferin properties, located approximately 18km from Cameco's Centennial Deposit where historic drill hole VR-031W3 intersected 8.78% U308 over 33.9m (SMAF 74G12-0061). Interpretation was focused in the southeast of the property and identified three geophysical targets located adjacent to the Virgin River Shear Zone. The highest priority target is represented by strong conductivity associated with a distinct magnetic transition. The conductor is interpreted to extend from the unconformity at the sandstone contact well into the underlying basement rocks. This target has never been drill-tested and the depth of sandstone cover above unconformity is estimated to be relatively shallow at less than 200m. The other two targets are also characterized by conductors with associated magnetic features. Refined is currently planning an appropriate drill program to test the highest priority target area. The Dufferin Project is located on or in close proximity to the known trace of the Virgin River Shear Zone and related splays which are key structures for potential uranium mineralization. The Project is prospective for unconformity- and basement-hosted uranium mineralization in proximity to the Virgin River Shear zone. Faulted basement contacts and brittlely reactivated structures are the primary locations for mineralization in the area covered by the Dufferin Project. The relatively high concentration of secondary uranium-bearing minerals demonstrated by prior exploration work on the Dufferin Project may also indicate that uranium mineralization remobilization may play an important role in this region of the Athabasca Basin. The Company is committed to steadily enhancing shareholder value by advancing diverse portfolio of projects toward discovery through collaborative partnerships and development of a highly experienced technical team. Expenditures from 2010-2023 on Eagle Plains-related projects exceed $38 million, the majority of which was funded by third-party partners. This exploration work resulted in approximately 50,000m of diamond-drilling and extensive ground-based exploration work facilitating the advancement of numerous projects at various stages of development. Throughout the exploration process, mission is to help maintain prosperous communities by exploring for and discovering resource opportunities while building lasting relationships through honest and respectful business practices.
