It's not clear how ads will work in LLM/ Chat responses. It may be the case that competitors can continue to fund answers without ads for years which will damage Googles Ad business until they need to become commercially viable.

This is like AT&T saying their long distance phone call business was safe in 1998 when VOIP was announced because they'll need to hook up their infrastructure?!? Stablecoins will only be successful if they remove intermediaries.
