Recent News & Updates
Fisker: This EV Stock Is Ready To Soar
Fisker is an up-and-coming EV startup that is expected to bring its first SUV product to market in Q4’22. Details about new EV models set to launch in 2023 could create buzz for Fisker and its stock. Fisker’s risk profile is skewed to the upside. The recent decline in EV market valuations creates an opportunity to engage.
Fisker Vs NIO: Which EV Stock Is The Better Buy?
Improving battery technology, greater charging infrastructure availability, and increasing price parity with ICE vehicles have supercharged electric vehicle (“EV”) adoption in recent years. Global EV sales have surged by over 40% in 2020, and are poised to reach newer heights this year, making it an exciting investment opportunity. But the growing number of EV stocks, ranging from established EV makers to pre-revenue start-ups, have made it increasingly difficult to determine which makes a better investment. A similar investment dilemma applies to NIO and Fisker, with one being a leading EV brand in China, and the other still in pre-revenue and pre-production phase. While our outlook remains bullish on both stocks, we believe NIO makes a higher-growth long-term investment due to the increasing value ascribed to its proprietary technology, including battery swaps and autonomous driving.
Fisker: Nothing To Look At
Fisker is expected to bleed cash and generate zero revenues for more than a year. We see several challenges, which are likely going to prevent Fisker from creating additional shareholder value in the following years. Fisker’s upside appears to be limited and it’s better to avoid its stock at this stage.
Fisker Stock Forecast For 2025: What You Should Know
Fisker's management remained tight-lipped on the specifications of its flagship Ocean SUV at the second-quarter earnings call on Thursday, leaving investors and potential customers empty-handed once again. But one thing that remains clear is the company's five-year plan to becoming the world's most sustainable carmaker, which involves four EVs, strategic partnerships, and becoming carbon neutral without offsets. Its "asset-lite" business model enables cost-savings that are passed onto customers in the form of highly-competitive pricing, which will help secure robust sales as global EV adoption continues to accelerate. With the Ocean SUV commencing production in November and three more models to come before 2025, Fisker's proprietary business model is expected to pay large dividends in the long-run when materialized according to plan. Considering a relatively flat share price in recent weeks at the $14-15 range as investors mull on the upcoming November launch of the Fisker Ocean, the current price-levels make a reasonable buy opportunity for upside of more than 40% in the near-term.
