Despite the fact that Nimbus Group AB (Publ)'s (STO:BOAT) value has dropped 17% in the last week insiders who sold kr2.6m worth of stock in the past 12 months have had less success. Insiders might have been better off holding onto their shares, given that the average selling price of kr38.51 is still below the current share price.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Nimbus Group

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Chief Executive Officer, Jan-Erik Lindström, sold kr1.4m worth of shares at a price of kr41.00 per share. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (kr22.00). So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Jan-Erik Lindström. Notably Jan-Erik Lindström was also the biggest buyer, having purchased kr352k worth of shares.

Jan-Erik Lindström sold a total of 68.05k shares over the year at an average price of kr38.51. The chart below shows insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year. If you want to know exactly who sold, for how much, and when, simply click on the graph below!
