DLF Limited Just Recorded A 22% EPS Beat: Here's What Analysts Are Forecasting Next
DLF Limited (NSE:DLF) last week reported its latest quarterly results, which makes it a good time for investors to dive in and see if the business is performing in line with expectations. The results were mixed; although revenues of ₹15b fell 16% short of what the analysts had predicted, per-share (statutory) earnings of ₹4.28 beat expectations by 22%. This is an important time for investors, as they can track a company's performance in its report, look at what experts are forecasting for next year, and see if there has been any change to expectations for the business. So we gathered the latest post-earnings forecasts to see what estimates suggest is in store for next year.

After the latest results, the 20 analysts covering DLF are now predicting revenues of ₹90.7b in 2026. If met, this would reflect a major 30% improvement in revenue compared to the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are predicted to increase 6.1% to ₹17.18. In the lead-up to this report, the analysts had been modelling revenues of ₹90.7b and earnings per share (EPS) of ₹17.63 in 2026. So it looks like there's been a small decline in overall sentiment after the recent results - there's been no major change to revenue estimates, but the analysts did make a small dip in their earnings per share forecasts.
It might be a surprise to learn that the consensus price target was broadly unchanged at ₹963, with the analysts clearly implying that the forecast decline in earnings is not expected to have much of an impact on valuation. The consensus price target is just an average of individual analyst targets, so - it could be handy to see how wide the range of underlying estimates is. Currently, the most bullish analyst values DLF at ₹1,060 per share, while the most bearish prices it at ₹770. Analysts definitely have varying views on the business, but the spread of estimates is not wide enough in our view to suggest that extreme outcomes could await DLF shareholders.
One way to get more context on these forecasts is to look at how they compare to both past performance, and how other companies in the same industry are performing. It's clear from the latest estimates that DLF's rate of growth is expected to accelerate meaningfully, with the forecast 23% annualised revenue growth to the end of 2026 noticeably faster than its historical growth of 2.5% p.a. over the past five years. Other similar companies in the industry (with analyst coverage) are also forecast to grow their revenue at 24% per year. DLF is expected to grow at about the same rate as its industry, so it's not clear that we can draw any conclusions from its growth relative to competitors.
The Bottom Line
The biggest concern is that the analysts reduced their earnings per share estimates, suggesting business headwinds could lay ahead for DLF. Happily, there were no real changes to revenue forecasts, with the business still expected to grow in line with the overall industry. The consensus price target held steady at ₹963, with the latest estimates not enough to have an impact on their price targets.
With that said, the long-term trajectory of the company's earnings is a lot more important than next year. We have forecasts for DLF going out to 2027, and you can see them free on our platform here.
