SK Target Group Limited (HKG:8427) insiders who acquired shares over the previous 12 months, can probably afford to ignore the recent 16% decline in the stock price. Reason being, despite the recent loss, insiders original purchase value of RM1.02m is now worth RM1.14m.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

SK Target Group Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by insider Fung Yuen Law for HK$1.0m worth of shares, at about HK$0.082 per share. We do like to see buying, but this purchase was made at well below the current price of HK$0.092. While it does suggest insiders consider the stock undervalued at lower prices, this transaction doesn't tell us much about what they think of current prices.

Does SK Target Group Boast High Insider Ownership?

Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. SK Target Group insiders own about HK$6.5m worth of shares (which is 52% of the company). I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.

So What Does This Data Suggest About SK Target Group Insiders?
