Ai-Media Technologies Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Co-Founder Anthony Abrahams for AU$1.6m worth of shares, at about AU$0.31 per share. Although we like to see insider buying, we note that this large purchase was at significantly below the recent price of AU$0.45. Insider Ownership Of Ai-Media Technologies

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. It appears that Ai-Media Technologies insiders own 31% of the company, worth about AU$29m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.

What Might The Insider Transactions At Ai-Media Technologies Tell Us?

It's certainly positive to see the recent insider purchase. And an analysis of the transactions over the last year also gives us confidence. But on the other hand, the company made a loss during the last year, which makes us a little cautious. When combined with notable insider ownership, these factors suggest Ai-Media Technologies insiders are well aligned, and that they may think the share price is too low. So these insider transactions can help us build a thesis about the stock, but it's also worthwhile knowing the risks facing this company. In terms of investment risks, we've identified 1 warning sign with Ai-Media Technologies and understanding it should be part of your investment process.
