It also manufactures and sells aromatics, such as benzene, toluene, xylene, paraxylene, orthoxylene phthalic anhydrides, and solvents for clothing, packaging, medicines, paint, cosmetics, computers, domestic maintenance, and automotive industries. In addition, the company engages in the manufacture and marketing of polymers comprising polypropylene and low-density polyethylene as raw materials for use in the plastics industry; ethylene and propylene used as feedstock in the production of polymers. It is also involved in the lease and management of tankers for maritime transport of fuel products; and trading and shipping activities.
