Frasers Property Consortium Tops Bids for Major Bayshore Mixed-Use Development A Frasers Property-led consortium has submitted the top bid of nearly S$2.13b for a large mixed-use commercial and residential site in the new Bayshore neighbourhood, with partners Sunway MCL, Sekisui House and Lum Chang lined up to develop the residential portion if the site is awarded.
The retail element of the project would be developed and fully owned by Frasers Centrepoint Trust, Sunway MCL and Sekisui House, potentially adding a sizeable new retail asset to Frasers Property’s ecosystem if the tender outcome is favourable.
Frasers Property shares last traded at S$1.06, with the stock down 6.2% year to date, while the Bayshore bid indicates ongoing capital commitment to Singapore mixed-use projects.

Frasers Property Limited Announces Management Changes FRASERS PROPERTY LIMITED announced that Mr. Reinfried Helmut Otter (Reini Otter) will step down as Chief Executive Officer, Frasers Property Industrial ("FPI"), and relinquish all other management duties he holds within Frasers Property Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") with effect from December 17, 2026 to take on a new career opportunity. The Chief Executive Officer, Frasers Property Industrial oversees the Group's industrial and logistics operations in Australia and Europe, including the real estate investment trust management of the Singapore-listed Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust. The Company is in the process of identifying Mr. Otter's successor, and an announcement on the appointment will be made in due course. In the interim, Mr. Ian Barter, currently the Managing Director of FPI Australia, will lead FPI Australia and FPI Europe from 1 August 2026 until a new Chief Executive Officer of FPI is appointed. Mr. Barter and the FPI leadership team will report to the FPI Executive Committee ("FPI Exco") and directly to the Deputy Chairman of FPI Exco, Mr. Rod Fehring, who is also a Co-Opted Member of the Company's Board Executive Committee. Mr. Barter joined Frasers Property in 2005 and has more than 25 years of experience in industrial and commercial property. As Managing Director, Australia, he leads the Group’s strategic direction for Industrial in the market, together with its financial and operational performance across the local portfolio. She will also continue to serve as a director on the boards of One Bangkok Co. Ltd. and Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management Ltd. (the manager of Frasers Centrepoint Trust).
