The Core Financing Business segment offers fund based services, such as lease finance, term finance, real estate finance, hire purchase, credit card operation, CMSME, auto loan, personal loan, emerging and commercial, syndication finance, revolving credit, loan against deposit, staff loan, etc. The Brokerage Business segment deals in stocks, shares and securities, commercial papers, bonds, debentures, debentures stocks, foreign currencies, treasury bills, or various financial instruments. The Investment Business segment provides trading, margin loans, and corporate finance services. The Asset Management Business segment offers fund management services. The company also provides issue and portfolio management, wealth management, underwriting of securities, register to issue, and corporate advisory services; and ERP, consultancy and training, market data, outsourcing, private cloud computing, ITES, project management, process management, cloud services, business process outsourcing, system integrator, e-commerce, m-commerce, and IT audit services. In addition, it develops specialized simulation tools for trading; trades in PCs, servers, network, security, accessories, and others; and prints and publishes newspapers, journals, magazines, periodicals, books, and literary and non-literary works. The company was formerly known as Vanik Bangladesh Limited and changed its name to LankaBangla Finance Limited in April 2005. LankaBangla Finance PLC. was incorporated in 1996 and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
