The Advance Automation Business segment supplies automation control systems, switches, and sensors; and provides engineering and maintenance services to industrial plants and factories. The Life Automation Business segment offers meters and measuring instruments for lifeline utilities; and residential central air-conditioning systems for residential developers. It also offers building management system, direct digital controllers, valve and actuators, and user terminals; and market-specific solutions for office building, retail facilities, hotel, museum, pharmaceutical factory, and laboratory. The company was formerly known as Yamatake Corporation and changed its name to Azbil Corporation in April 2012. Azbil Corporation was founded in 1906 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
