It owns and operates six conventional turbo steam units with an installed capacity of 1,131 MW; two cycles energy plant with an installed capacity of 851 MW; a gas turbine; and a BTH steam turbine with an installed capacity of 321.6 MW. The company provides engineering, consultancy, and management services for operation of electrical power plants. The company was formerly known as Enel Generación Costanera S.A. and changed its name to Central Costanera S.A. in March 2023. The company was incorporated in 1992 and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The company operates as a subsidiary of Enel Argentina S.A.
