Even though Ondo InsurTech Plc (LON:ONDO) has fallen by 10% over the past week , insiders who sold UK£180k worth of stock over the past year have had less luck. Given that the average selling price of UK£0.30 is still lower than the current share price, insiders would probably have been better off keeping their shares.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

Ondo InsurTech Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Non-Executive Director, Andrew John Morrison, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for UK£180k worth of shares at a price of UK£0.30 each. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (UK£0.18). So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Andrew John Morrison.
