Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Brian Imrie, the Executive Chairman of PPX Mining Corp. (CVE:PPX) recently shelled out CA$90k to buy stock, at CA$0.045 per share. While we're hesitant to get too excited about a purchase of that size, we do note it increased their holding by a solid 36%.

PPX Mining Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Brian Imrie is the biggest insider purchase of PPX Mining shares that we've seen in the last year. We do like to see buying, but this purchase was made at well below the current price of CA$0.07. While it does suggest insiders consider the stock undervalued at lower prices, this transaction doesn't tell us much about what they think of current prices.
