Mr. Powell served the as the Chief Executive Officer in an advisory capacity at Catapult since September 2016. He led Catapult's Global Leadership Strategy Forum in January 2017 and has engaged closely with the entire global senior leadership team. He served as Managing Director of SEEK Education at SEEK Limited. until September 5, 2016 and served as its Managing Director of Education since July 1, 2015 until September 1, 2016. Mr. Powell oversees the sales, marketing, customer service and product departments as well as the entire New Zealand team. He served as Managing Director of Seek Employment & Learning - Australia & New Zealand at SEEK Limited from August 9, 2013 to July 1, 2015 and served as its Managing Director of Seek Employment - Australia & New Zealand since October 2008 and Sales Director from September 4, 2006 to October 2008. He served as an Interim Head of Information Division of SEEK Limited. He has day to day responsibility for SEEK's online employment business in Australia and New Zealand. He joined SEEK in 2006 after a successful sales management career at Optus where he served as Director of Consumer Sales. He originally joined Optus in December 1994 and held other senior roles including National Sales Manager Consumer Sales and Group Manager Mobile Communication Devices and Service. Mr. Powell started his career as an accountant at PwC. He serves as a Director of IDP Education Australia Limited. He served as Non Executive Director of IDP Education Limited from March 23, 2015 to November 12, 2015. He serves as a Director of Richmond Football Club.
