It operates through two segments, Real Estate Operations and Fee for Service. The company owns interests in various properties, which are used as shopping centers, colleges, restaurants, police stations, and apartments located in Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Texas. It also provides preferred developer services for corporate franchise operators, as well as owns and operates a movie theater, a liquor store, and a restaurant. First Hartford Corporation was incorporated in 1909 and is based in Manchester, Connecticut.
