Mr. Fraser has approximately 20 years finance experience in the mining industry with a particular focus on financing and strategic developments. He is the founder of the Project, has led its development since 2010. He worked at Citigroup from 2000 to 2009, Rothschild from 1998 to 2000 and KPMG from 1995 to 1998 and has market leading expertise in all aspects of the financing and development of major mining projects. Having joined Citigroup in 2000, he was appointed Head of Metals and Mining Investment Banking for Australia in 2006 and Managing Director in 2008. He served as the Lead Adviser on the US$2.5 billion initial development capital financing for Fortescue Metals Group (FMG). He has provided strategic advice to many of the world's leading mining companies including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, WMC Resources and Paladin Energy. In 2009, Mr. Fraser founded Sigiriya Capital and in 2010 founded York Potash Ltd to undertake the exploration and development of the York Potash Project. Mr. Fraser is Director of Sirius Minerals Finance Limited. Mr. Fraser has been a Director of Sirius Minerals Plc since January 17, 2011. He serves as a Director at Sigiriya Capital Pty Limited, York Potash Ltd; C&J Fraser Investments Pty Ltd; Panocean (China) Limited; Recursos Sigiriya Pty Limited; and Li Jin Capital Pte Ltd. He served as a Director at Iberian Resources Corp. Mr. Fraser holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. In addition, he is a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and member of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia. He is a member of the UK-China CEO Council, Director of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership and member of the Coventry University Advisory Board.
