He held both technical and management positions In ARCO from 1982 to 1998 and served as Head of International Exploration for Wintershall AG. In 2000, Mr. Sanderson created and built his own Libyan focussed E&P Company successfully divesting its assets in 2004. A geoscientist by background Mr. Sanderson has both production and extensive exploration skills having run the appraisal/development of 6 ARCO fields and drilled and/or played a significant part in the discovery of 21 fields totaling 2.3Billion bbls and 9.7Tcfg gross reserves. He is an Executive Director of UK Oil & Gas PLC. Mr. Sanderson is a graduate of the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College of Science and Technology, London. He is a 30 year member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, a fellow of the Geological Society of London and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain.
