The fund uses futures contracts to invest in base metals, including aluminum, zinc and copper (grade A). It seeks to track the performance of the DBIQ Optimum Yield Industrial Metals Index Excess Return. The fund was formerly known as PowerShares DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust - PowerShares DB Base Metals Fund. Invesco DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust - Invesco DB Base Metals Fund was formed on January 5, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States.
