Mr. Joseph J. DeAngelo, also known as Joe, has been the Chief Executive Officer of HD Supply Holdings, Inc. since January 2005 and served as its President since January 2005 until 2018. He has over 32 years of global operating experience, including 17 years in various leadership roles and that, along with his knowledge of strategic planning and global business experience. He served as Chief Executive Officer of HD Supply Electrical, Ltd. He served a the Chief Executive Officer and President of HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, Ltd. since January 2005 until June 5, 2017. He served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of The Home Depot, Inc. from January 2007 to August 31, 2007 and Executive Vice President of Home Depot Supply from August 2005 to August 31, 2007. From January 2005 to August 2005, Mr. DeAngelo served as Senior Vice President of Home Depot Supply, Pro Business and Tool Rental. From April 2, 2004 to January 2005, he served as Senior Vice President of Pro Business and Tool Rental at The Home Depot, Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Tools Group at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. (formerly, The Stanley Works) from April 22, 2003 to April 2004. He joined Stanley on March 25, 2003. From 1986 to March 2003, he held various positions with General Electric Company. Mr. DeAngelo served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Transport International Pool and Modular Space, a division of General Electric Capital since 2002; Chief Operating officer of GE Appliances since 2000; Vice President, E-Business of GE Appliances since 1999 and General Manager, Six Sigma, GE Appliances since 1998. He also held multiple operating leadership positions in GE Electrical Distribution and Control, GE Plastics, GE Power Generation and GE Aerospace, in addition to participation on GE's Corporate Audit Staff. Prior to joining GE, he held finance and operating positions at Georgia Pacific and CL Marvin, PLC. From August 2005 to December 2006, he served as Senior Vice President of HD Supply. Mr. DeAngelo has been the Chairman of HD Supply Holdings, Inc. and HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, Ltd since March 12, 2015. He has been a Director of HD Supply, Inc., HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, Ltd. and HD Supply Holdings, Inc. since August 30, 2007. He served as an Independent Director of Owens-Illinois, Inc. since May 26, 2016 until July 13, 2017. He serves on the CEO Advisory Council of the Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. Mr. DeAngelo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.

HD Supply Holdings, Inc. operates as an industrial distributor in North America. It operates through two segments, Facilities Maintenance, and Construction & Industrial. The Facilities Maintenance segment offers electrical and lighting items, plumbing, appliances, janitorial supplies, hardware, kitchen and bath cabinets, window coverings, textiles and guest amenities, healthcare maintenance, and water and wastewater treatment products, as well as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning products. The Construction & Industrial segment offers tilt-up brace systems, forming and shoring systems, concrete chemicals, hand and power tools, cutting tools, rebars, ladders, safety and fall arrest equipment, specialty screws and fasteners, sealants and adhesives, drainage pipes, geo-synthetics, erosion and sediment control equipment, and other engineered materials used in non-residential and residential construction. This segment also provides home improvement solutions, such as light remodeling and construction supplies, kitchen and bath cabinets, windows, plumbing materials, electrical equipment, and other products primarily to small remodeling contractors and trade professionals through local retail outlets. In addition, it offers pre-bid assistance, product submittals, engineering, and tool repair services. It serves contractors, maintenance professionals, home builders, industrial businesses, and government entities through a network of branches and professional sales force, as well as through print catalogs and e-commerce. The company was formerly known as HDS Investment Holding, Inc. and changed its name to HD Supply Holdings, Inc. in April 2013. HD Supply Holdings, Inc. is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
