Mr. Hagan has also been the President of Western New England Bancorp and Westfield Bank since June 30, 2005. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Western New England Bancorp, Inc from June 2005 until December 2008. He served as a Corporator for the Westfield Athenaeum and Westfield YMCA. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Westfield Bank from June 30, 2005 until December 2008. He served as a Senior Vice President of Western New England Bancorp and Westfield Bank since 1998. He served as Chief Lending Officer of Western New England Bancorp. He served as Commercial Loan Department Manager of Westfield Bank since 1998. Mr. Hagan served as Vice President of Westfield Bank and Western New England Bancorp from 1994 to 1998. He joined Westfield Bank as one of their first full time commercial loan officers in 1994. Prior to Westfield, he worked in a similar capacity for Bank of New England (now Bank of America) and SIS (now TD Banknorth). He serves as Vice-Chairman of Noble Health Systems, Inc. Mr. Hagan served as Director of Stanley Park of Westfield. He is an active member of the Greater Westfield Community. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees from 1991 to 2001 and Chaired the Access to Excellence capital campaign. He serves as Member of the Board of Trustees of Westfield State College. He serves as a Director of the Trustee of Westfield Academy. He serves as a Director of Westfield Financial Inc since 2009. and Westfield Bank. He serves as a coach in the Westfield Park and Rec. soccer program. Mr. Hagan is a 1984 graduate of Westfield State College and received his degree in Business Management and also received his Masters of Business Administration from American International College in 1988.

Western New England Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Westfield Bank that provides commercial and retail banking products and services to individuals and businesses. The company accepts various deposit accounts, including checking, savings, business and municipal savings, money market and business sweep, and individual retirement accounts; time deposits; term certificates of deposit; and interest on lawyers trust accounts. It also offers commercial real estate loans secured by one-to-four and multi-family apartment buildings, office, industrial, or mixed-use facilities, or other commercial properties; commercial construction loans; commercial and industrial loans, such as revolving lines of credit, working capital loans, equipment financing and term loans; residential real estate loans secured by one-to-four family residential properties; home equity loans; and consumer loans. In addition, the company provides automated teller machines (ATM), telephone and online banking, remote deposit capture, cash management services, overdraft facilities, night deposit services, and safe deposit facilities. It operates a network of 22 banking offices, 24 free-standing ATMs, and 24 seasonal or temporary ATMS located in Agawam, Chicopee, Feeding Hills, East Longmeadow, Holyoke, Ludlow, South Hadley, Southwick, Springfield, Ware, West Springfield and Westfield, Massachusetts and Granby and Enfield, Connecticut. The company was formerly known as Westfield Financial, Inc. and changed its name to Western New England Bancorp, Inc. in October 2016. Western New England Bancorp, Inc. was founded in 1853 and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.
