Mr. Christopher M. Courtney, also known as Chris, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Oak Valley BanCorp since July 2013 and May 2008 respectively. Mr. Courtney has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Oak Valley Community Bank since July 2013 and August 2004 respectively. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Oak Valley BanCorp and Oak Valley Community Bank since 1999 and also served as its Chief Credit Officer from 1999 to October 2004 and also served as its Executive Vice President since 2000. He joined Oak Valley Community Bank in 1996 and served as a Lender, after working for a major bank. He has over 25 years of diverse banking experience, having worked for a major bank, a mid-size bank, and another community bank prior to joining Oak Valley. He has been a Director at Oak Valley BanCorp since May 2008 and Oak Valley Community Bank since January 16, 2007. He graduated from Wells Fargo Bank Credit Training Program in 1989. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Mr. Courtney holds a B.S. in Finance and an Masters in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. Mr. Courtney is a 1989 graduate of Wells Fargo Bank’s Credit Training Program and a 2000 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Oak Valley Bancorp operates as the bank holding company for Oak Valley Community Bank that provides banking products and services to individuals and small and medium sized businesses in Oakdale, California, and surrounding areas. The company accepts various deposits products, such as checking and savings, money market, health savings, and individual retirement accounts, as well as certificates of deposit. It also offers commercial real estate loans; commercial business lending and trade finance; and small business administration lending, as well as consumer loans consisting of personal loans, automobile loans, home improvement loans, home mortgage loans, revolving lines of credit, and other personal loans. In addition, the company provides online banking, remote deposit capture, mobile banking, merchant, night depository, extended hours, wire transfer of funds, and note collection services, as well as automated teller machines. As of January 24, 2019, it operated through 17 branches, including Oakdale, Turlock, Stockton, Patterson, Ripon, Escalon, Manteca, Tracy, Sacramento; two branches in Sonora; three branches in Modesto; and three branches in Bridgeport, Mammoth Lakes, and Bishop. Oak Valley Bancorp was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Oakdale, California.
