As of November 24, 2019, it operated 1,443 neighborhood stores, including 1,199 McColl's branded convenience stores and 244 Martin’s branded newsagents stores in England, Scotland, and Wales. The company was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Brentwood, the United Kingdom.
