Mr. Pedro Miró Roig has been the Chief Executive Officer of CEPSA Lubricantes S.A. since September 17, 2013. Mr. Roig has been the Chief Executive Officer of Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. since September 17, 2013. Mr. Miró Roig also served as the Chief Operations Officer from August 2011 to September 2013, Senior Vice President of Corporate Technical Area, Senior Advisor at Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. and served as its Vice President of Exploration and Production since 2014. Pedro Miró joined Cepsa as a trainee in 1976 and has spent his entire career in different areas of the Company. He was the Director of the Corporate Research Center for over 10 years. He oversaw Compañía Española de Petróleos’s refining and power activities as well as various corporate divisions, including HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and Technology. He has likewise served on the Boards of various other affiliates of the Cepsa Group, having been Chairman of Asesa, Detisa, Gepesa, Cepsa Gas Comercializadora, Cepsa Química Becancour and Detén. Mr. Miró Roig serves as Chairman at CEPSA Química, S.A. In July 2016, Mr. Miró was named Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the newly-created Fundación Cepsa. The Exploration and Production segment explores for and develops oil and gas fields; and produces crude oil and natural gas. It holds a portfolio of 27 blocks in the exploration, development, and production phase in the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America, South East Asia, and Spain. As of June 30, 2018, this segment had 10 onshore and offshore exploration projects. The Refining segment distils crude oil and transforms it into refined products comprising gasoline, diesel, and other products; and trades in crude oil and refinery products in Spain and internationally. It also produces electricity; supplies natural gas, steam, and electricity to customers in the industrial and commercial sectors. As of June 30, 2018, this segment had eight cogeneration plants and one combined cycle power plant. The Marketing segment commercializes and offers petroleum products and non-fuel services through a network of service stations in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and Gibraltar, as well as through a network of agents and distributors. It is also involved in the retail network, liquefied petroleum gas, aviation, bunker, lubricant, asphalt and wholesale business; and wholesale of motor and other fuels. As of June 30, 2018, this segment had 1,824 services stations in the Iberian Peninsula that include Carrefour and Depaso convenience stores. The Petrochemicals segment manufactures and markets petrochemical products and their derivatives, including surfactants, linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, and n-paraffin, as well as fatty alcohols and acids, glycerin, and fatty alcohol derivatives; and phenol, cumene, acetone, and derivatives. The company was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. is a subsidiary of CEPSA Holding LLC.
