Mr. Nicholas J. Jefferies, also known as Nick, has been the Group Chief Executive of Acal Plc since January 5, 2009. Mr. Jefferies served as Vice President of Sales and Customer Marketing of Eurodis Electron PLC from September 2002 to November 5, 2004. He served as the Vice President, Northern Region of Eurodis Electron. He served as the Managing Director of Nordic Arrow Inc. and held various marketing and product engineering roles at Toshiba Electronics, Hitachi and Thales Group. He served as Global Head of Electronics at Electrocomponents plc. Since 2005, he has been with Electrocomponents plc, the leading high service distributor to engineers worldwide. Prior to joining Electrocomponents, Mr. Jefferies spent eleven years in component distribution, including senior positions at Arrow Electronics, a leading international distributor of electronic components and computer products, latterly as Managing Director, Nordic Region. He has extensive experience of electronics and the component distribution industry. He serves as a Director of Acal plc. He served as an Executive Director of Eurodis Electron PLC from October 13, 2003 to November 5, 2004. He received a Degree in Electronics and Solid State Physics.
