He is professional leader with experience in the nuclear industry. He also worked at Halyk Bank Kazakhstan as Managing Director-Head of Investment Banking and Head of Project Finance. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Pirmatov served as Vice-President of Economics and Finance of Kazatomprom. Since July 2011 until July 2014, he served as Chairman of the Governing Board at Kazakhstan Association of Foreign Investors' Council and serves as its Governing Board Member. He served as Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He served as First Vice-Chairman of the Board at BTA Bank. He served as a Director at Joint Stock Company Altyn Bank. He was a Vice-Minister of economy and budget planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
