He has been a Director of Langfang Education Consultancy since October 2011. He has been a Director of Raffles Education Corporation Limited since November 25, 1999, Hartford Education Corporation Limited since June 18, 2004 and China Education Limited since March 26, 2007. He served as a Director of Midas Holdings Ltd. from February 6, 2003 to October 2005. He was conferred the Public Service Medal by the President of Singapore for his contribution to community service in 2010. He was awarded the National University of Singapore Business School Eminent Business Alumni Awards in November 2010 for his outstanding achievements. Mr. Chew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from National University of Singapore (now known as the National University of Singapore) in Singapore in May 1979.
