Mr. Feldenkreis served as the Chief Operating Officer of Perry Ellis International, Inc. from February 1993 to April 21, 2016. He served as a Vice President at Perry Ellis International, Inc. in 1979. He served as Vice Chairman of Perry Ellis International, Inc. since March 2005 and has been its Director since 1979. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at MyMela.com, Inc. He is a Member of Advisory Board of Mela Artisans, Inc. He is involved in numerous local and national civic causes, including the member of the Leadership Council of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Israel Bonds, the Kosher Food Bank and the United Way and serves on the Board of Directors of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. He serves as the sole trustee of the Oscar Feldenkreis Revocable Trust UAD 05/06/11. He is a member of the Young President Organization (YPO). Most recently, he received the National Human Relations award from the American Jewish Committee and the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He joined Perry Ellis International Inc. on a full-time basis in 1980 and has been involved in all aspects of Perry Ellis International Inc. operations since 1980. He is on the board of the American Apparel & Footwear Association, President of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces FIDF), Greater Miami Chapter, an advisory board member of the Miami Fashion Institute for Miami-Dade College and an advisory board member for the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business Retail.
