He served as a Director of Latin American Minerals Inc. from September 20, 2006 to August 2015. He served as a Director at Lithium Americas Corp., from July 1, 2009 to June 25, 2013. He has been Director of Neo Lithium Corp. since February 9, 2016. He serves as a Member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. Dr. Perez received his PhD. (geology) in 1991 from the Universidad Nacional de Tucuman (Argentina) and completed his post-doctorate geology degree in 1992 at the University of Alberta.
