Biography

Columbus Gold Corp. operates as a gold exploration and development company in France. The company primarily holds interests in the Paul Isnard gold project comprising eight mining concessions and two exploration permits covering an area of 190 square kilometers located in northwestern portion of French Guiana, South America. The company was formerly known as Purple Vein Resources Ltd. and changed its name to Columbus Gold Corp. in December 2004. Columbus Gold Corp. was incorporated in 2003 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
