Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the TerraVest Industries Inc. (TSE:TVK) Executive Chairman, Charles Pellerin, recently bought CA$75k worth of stock, for CA$15.05 per share. Although the purchase is not a big one, by either a percentage standpoint or absolute value, it can be seen as a good sign.
TerraVest Industries Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the Chief Investment Officer, Mitchell Gilbert, for CA$2.4m worth of shares, at about CA$16.00 per share. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of CA$15.50. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.
