The company operates in five segments: Canada Retail, Canada Commercial, USA, Supply, and International. The Canada Retail segment supplies and supports a coast-to-coast network of 1,863 retail gas stations under the Ultramar, Esso, Fas Gas Plus, Chevron, Pioneer, and Race Trac, as well as operates convenience stores under the On the Run/Marché Express brand. The Canada Commercial segment offers bulk fuel, propane, heating oil, lubricants, agricultural inputs, oilfield fluids, and other related products and services to commercial, industrial, and residential customers in various industries, such as oil and gas, construction, mining, forestry, fishing, and transportation under the Ultramar, Bluewave Energy, Pipeline Commercial, Chevron, Columbia Fuels, and Sparlings Propane brands. The USA segment operates retail service stations; and delivers gasoline, distillates, propane, and lubricating oils under the SPF Energy, Farstad Oil, Superpumper, Rhinehart, and Tropic brands. The Supply segment manages fuel supply contracts; purchases fuel from refiners, refines and markets fuel, and transports and distributes fuel through rail and highway carriers to wholesale and reseller customers. This segment also offers gasoline and diesel; liquid petroleum gas, such as propane and butane; and other fuel and petroleum products, which include crude oil, aviation fuel, asphalt, fuel oils, gas oils, ethanol, and biodiesel. The International segment operates retail service stations under the Esso, Shell, and Sol brands serving commercial, industrial, and aviation businesses. Parkland Fuel Corporation was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
