Insiders In NTAW Holdings Still Down 14% On AU$3.06m Investment
Insiders who bought AU$3.06m worth of NTAW Holdings Limited (ASX:NTD) stock in the last year recovered part of their losses as the stock rose by 16% last week. However, total losses seen by insiders are still AU$415k since the time of purchase.
Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At NTAW Holdings
The Non-Independent Non-Executive Director Terence Smith made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for AU$1.5m worth of shares at a price of AU$0.37 each. That means that even when the share price was higher than AU$0.32 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. It's very possible they regret the purchase, but it's more likely they are bullish about the company. We always take careful note of the price insiders pay when purchasing shares. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.
