Schächter has been Managing Partner at Euro Capital Partners., since 1999. He has practical experience in top management of multinational corporations as well as private small and medium size companies. From 1994 to1999, he served as a General Manager at Rhone Poulenc Austria. While there, Ing. Schächter was involved in coordinating the merger of Rhone Poulenc Rorer–Hoechst to Aventis. He was responsible for managing the spin off for Rhone Poulenc and Rhodia activities. Ing. Schaechter acted as a Supervisor of RP Eastern European business. He also served as a Supervisor to Rhodia SA, Paris for its programs in Germany and Eastern Europe. Ing. Schächter served as a Managing Partner at Petromontan in 1984 and specialized on biotechnology and industrial water treatment. In 1981, he was employed at Dow Chemical in the Marketing and Sales Division. Ing. Schächter served as a Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Staatsdruckerei Gmbh. He received an M.B.A from the Vienna University in 1982, a Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980. In 1995, Ing. Schächter completed a program in Executive Management from Fontainbleau.
