It develops and produces vehicles, fire extinguishing systems, fire and safety equipment, and telematics solutions for professionals, industrials, and plants, as well as volunteer fire services and systems for preventive firefighting. The company offers municipal vehicles; aerial ladders, hydraulic platforms, and refurbishment vehicles; ARFF vehicles; customized body system industrial vehicles and dry powder fire trucks; forest firefighting, rescue, command, special vehicles, and swap body vehicles and roll-off containers; and intervention hose reels, light masts, compartment shutters, logic control systems, roll-on/roll-off containers, truck mounted generators, and stowage systems. It also provides firefighting helmets and gloves, protective clothing and boots, power generators, fans, submersible pumps, thermal imaging cameras, decontamination equipment, LED lighting systems, alarm and warning devices, electrical equipment, firefighting devices, extinguishing agents, fire station equipment, sanitary and rescue equipment, hoses, rescue operations equipment, couplings, fittings, proportioners, and respiratory and chemical protection equipment. In addition, the company offers firefighting systems comprising portable pumps, ultra-high pressure systems, extinguishing systems, truck-mounted pumps, foam proportioning systems, compressed air foam systems, nozzles and monitors, turrets, and engine-pump units; and stationary fire protection systems comprising indoor extinguishing systems, turret extinguishing systems, and tunnel extinguishing systems, and POLY extinguishing systems, as well as water, gas, and kitchen extinguishing systems. Further, it provides maintenance, customer service, and refurbishment through its service network in approximately 100 countries. The company was founded in 1866 and is headquartered in Leonding, Austria. Rosenbauer International AG is a subsidiary of Rosenbauer Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH.
